Clear (Transparent Vinyl)Updated 12 hours ago

Clear (Transparent Vinyl) is the go-to material when you want your design to appear as if it's printed directly on the surface, no visible background, no white border, just your artwork floating cleanly on whatever it's applied to.

What Is Clear?

Clear is a transparent polymeric vinyl with a glossy finish. Your design is printed on the clear film, allowing the surface underneath to show through any unprinted areas. It's available in two printing options: front-printed (standard) and back-printed (reverse), depending on your application needs.

Key Features

  • Fully transparent base, the surface shows through unprinted areas.
  • Glossy finish with gloss lamination for protection.
  • Permanent adhesive for secure, long-lasting application.
  • Waterproof, scratch-resistant, and UV-proof.
  • Available in front-printed and back-printed (reverse) options.

Front-Printed vs. Back-Printed

  • Front-printed (standard): Your design is printed on the front of the vinyl and applied adhesive-side down. This is the standard option for most surfaces.
  • Back-printed (reverse): Your design is printed on the back of the vinyl and applied with the printed side against the surface (e.g., inside a window). The design is then viewed through the glass. This option is ideal for window applications where the sticker is applied on the inside but viewed from the outside.

What Is It Best For?

Clear stickers are ideal for glass and window applications, product labels on transparent packaging, water bottles and drinkware, designs that should blend seamlessly with any surface, and branding where a "no-label" look is desired.

Design Tips

  • White areas of your design will appear transparent (clear) unless a white underprint layer is applied.
  • For white elements to be visible on a clear sticker, make sure your design accounts for the white underprint.
  • Dark and vivid colors show up best on transparent material.

Good to Know

The border area on clear stickers will be transparent. This means the border effectively disappears on most surfaces, giving your sticker a clean, borderless appearance.

Let your design float with Clear!
