Kiss-cutUpdated 11 hours ago

Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the sticker material only, not through the backing paper. This means your sticker sits on a slightly larger backing sheet, making it easy to peel and perfect for handing out, packaging, or creating sticker sheets.

How Does Kiss-Cut Work?

Unlike die-cut, where the blade cuts through both the sticker and the backing, kiss-cut uses a lighter cut that slices only through the top vinyl layer. The backing paper remains intact, creating a bordered frame around each sticker. You (or your customer) simply peel the sticker off the backing when ready to apply.

Key Features

  • Cut through the sticker layer only, backing paper stays intact.
  • Easy to peel thanks to the surrounding backing sheet.
  • Perfect for individual sticker handouts and inserts.
  • Works with all materials and finishes.
  • Clean, professional presentation.

What Is It Best For?

Kiss-cut stickers are ideal for sticker inserts in packaging, promotional giveaways and handouts, e-commerce order inserts, sticker sheets with multiple designs, merchandise and retail sticker packs, and any scenario where the sticker needs a backing for easy handling and peeling.

How It Differs From Die-Cut

  • Die-cut: Cuts through everything (sticker + backing), each sticker is fully separated.
  • Kiss-cut: Cuts through the sticker layer only, sticker stays on its backing until peeled.

Good to Know

Kiss-cut stickers have a small margin of backing visible around the sticker edge. This is a normal part of the kiss-cut process and gives the sticker a polished, ready-to-peel presentation.

Easy to peel, easy to share, that's kiss-cut!
